two new trailers this week. . .
the first one is for the king's speech which debuted at and won the audience award at toronto last week. this is expected to be the frontrunner for this year's academy awards and it looks incredible. I think it is gonna be virtually impossible for colin firth not to walk away with the best actor trophy, but all three leads are looking at nominations. can't wait til it opens on thanksgiving weekend.

the second is for the new coen brother's movie, true grit. haven't seen the original, because john wayne movies get on my nerves, but i love everything the coen brothers do, and this looks fantastic (sort of along the lines of no country). i love westerns, and am thankful that for the past five years or so at least one good new one seems to get released every year. hope this remake is as good as as 3:10 to yuma was.
